The Lodge Cottage and Old Farmhouse, Cwmygerwyn

Dates and Booking

Note – Two cottages now available

From 2012 we are offering two cottages for rent. Adjoining the Lodge Cottage – separated by thick stone walls – is the original Old Farmhouse, which sleeps up to 6 people in three bedrooms (two doubles, one twin).
The Lodge Cottage is graded three stars by the Welsh Tourist Board.
The Old Farmhouse has not yet been graded.

Times

Lodge cottage at dusk

The cottages are normally booked weekly, from Saturday to Saturday.
During less busy periods, we also encourage you to book Weekend or Midweek short breaks (3 days or more).

You can also book both the Lodge and the Old Farmhouse together, using the connecting door to make a double cottage for a larger group.

Rates

These weekly rates (right) includes off-peak electricity for night storage heaters, logs for the woodburning stove, and towels and linen for two people (two pairs of towels and linen for one made-up double bed).
The weekly rate depends on the time of year.

The rates for the Old Farm are a bit higher, simply because standard electricity is metered differently in the two cottages.

If you rent both cottages together, we offer a 25% discount on the Lodge Cottage rental.

Enquiries and Booking

To book a visit or ask a question, either:

  • contact Alison Muldal by e-mail or phone (01865) 735995 or
  • use our online enquiry form to make a request.
(As this form was designed for the Lodge Cottage only, please use one of the text boxes to explain your requirements if you want to rent the Old Farmhouse or both cottages instead.)

Notes

  • Careful and considerate pet owners are welcome; please discuss when booking.
  • Unfortunately, the uneven terrain and steps to the doors make the cottage unsuited to wheelchair access.
